Work Party
The plan is to hold a series of work parties on Sundays with the main objective of rebuilding the jetty. Please try to come along and help from 1.00pm onwards or contact a committee member for details.

Bean Geese (SSSI)
The following two restrictions remain in place for use of the loch, please ensure they are adhered to:
1 - No maintenance to be carried out on the existing jetty between sunset and sunrise in winter (1st October to 15th March)
2 - Non powered water sports (sailing, wind-surfing, canoeing) during winter - no activity to take place between sunset and sunrise (1st October to 15th March). Half an hour before sunset craft should return to shore. Powered rescue boat may be used to bring craft ashore in the event of them becoming stranded on the water after sunset.

Mid Week Sailing
As usual mid week sailing will on a Wednesday evening and all are welcome.

Security
The security code on the main gate padlock at the Club will be changed again this year - a key fob with the new number will be given to members on receipt of fees. Do not divulge the number to non-members. New locks have been fitted to the outside of the club house door, they are a combination style lock similar to the gate and will ensure the door is always securely closed.
Due to theft please ensure that no loose items are left in your boat and that they are stored in the secure areas provided.
Members are also reminded that it is their own responsibility to secure/tie down their boat. Boats should also be checked regularly over the winter especially before and after high winds. Could each member attach a label to their boat with a contact number to allow contact to be made in case of emergency/damage. Finally, always check that you lock up if you are the last one around. Any problems with the gate contact a committee member.
