Welcome to the home page of Lochside Sailing Club. This RYA Affiliated Sailing Club based at Fannyside Loch has been established for several decades. Fannyside Loch lies just to the south of Cumbernauld new town in Central Scotland on the road from Cumbernauld to Slamannan and is surrounded by unspoilt beauty, the town is below the horizon and therefore out of sight.
The views of the campsie hills and the ochils lend a real quality to a day's sailing, the view adding to the atmosphere of relaxed enjoyment.
There is also a new Scottish directive on the muir creating an SSSI on Slamannan plateau as we have rare visitors each year in the form of Bean Geese.
The classes sailed by members

The Club also has a well established windsurfing Club with its own storage facility. The site is updated periodically with information about the Club and its activities and invite anyone interested to get in touch through the website and join in our sailing and windsurfing events.
